Archetypical Adelaide Hills – ostensibly white stone fruits peach and nectarine. Sensitive batonnage of yeast lees has coaxed out a complexing nuttiness – assorted cashew, almond and Brazil nut with an ever so slight trace of nutmeg.
Unravels in the glass to reveal an enthralling and multi-dimensional package. Hints of citrus and nashi pear with the reported 40% of new oak totally absorbed, barely noticeable. Impressively well-integrated and complex.
Vibrant light straw with lime green hues.

The 2016 Reserve Bin A Chardonnay opens with lovely baking bread, honeyed toast and marzipan notes with a core of apricots, melon and pink grapefruit. Medium-bodied, the palate has great elegance and expression, with pretty citrus and mineral accents and a nice phenolic texture, finishing long and lively. Great food wine.
