Pisco Sour is a Peruvian cocktail that can be commonly found in the cuisines of Peru and Chile. It is widely consider with bartenders as a South American classic sour and sweet cocktail.

Fun fact: Peru celebrates a yearly public holiday in honor of the cocktail during the first Saturday of February.

How to make Pisco Sour

  • Servings 1
  • Preparation time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 44ml Brandy
  • 1 Egg white
  • 30ml Lemon Juice
  • 22ml Simple syrup
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters or
  • 1 lime wheel

Instructions

  1. Place ingredients into boston shaker and shake vigorously
  2. Strain contents into boston shaker with ice cubes
  3. Pour contents into Old Fashioned glass and garnish with bitters
