The Mojito cocktail has popularised Cuba/Havana as a pop culture reference in music, movies, TV series and even tourism. It is also one of the most famous rum-based highballs cocktail classic that often appears on drinks menu or at parties.

How to make Mojito

  • Servings 1
  • Preparation time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 45ml Rum
  • 30ml Fresh Lime Juice
  • 2 Teaspoons Sugar
  • 6 leaves of Mint
  • 15ml Soda Water

Instructions

  1. Pour lime juice and place sugar and mint leaves into shaker
  2. Crush the mint leaves with the end of a rolling pin Pour into tall glass with ice
  3. Pour rum into glass and stir with a long-handled spoon
  4. Top up with soda water, garnish with mint and serve
