Located on clay soils in the Montagne-Saint-Emilion appellation, Chateau de Courtade is a small estate of about 3.32 ha. The 2019 vintage was harvested on 23 September, with careful selection and full hand-harvest by plot and variety. Vinification uses stainless steel or concrete vats with temperature control, a maceration period of 20–30 days, malolactic fermentation in vats, and ageing in vats for around 12-14 months.
