This is an excellent vintage for this historic Saint-Estephe estate with rich Cabernet Sauvignon aromas in the nose mingling cassis, plums and a touch of licorice and tobacco. Sweet and juicy with primary fruit flavours, there is good intensity here; nice precision on the mid palate; elegant, fresh tannins with a touch of mintiness and excellent fruit concentration leading to a precise, spicy finish.
