Glenmorangie The Original 12 Years is the refined, age‑statement version of the distillery’s flagship single malt, crafted by Glenmorangie Distillery in the Highland region of Scotland.

The whisky begins its journey at Glenmorangie’s tall copper stills – among the tallest in Scotland – which allow the lightest and most refined vapours to rise, contributing to the spirit’s delicate and elegant character. 

After distillation, the whisky is matured for a minimum of 12 years in American white‑oak ex‑bourbon barrels. This extended ageing allows the spirit to develop more depth, roundness and complexity compared to earlier iterations. 

The 12‑year age statement marks a deliberate upgrade from the previous 10‑year expression, reflecting the distillery’s aim to take the core Original profile to “new heights of deliciousness”.
