Maestro Dobel 50 Cristalino Extra Anejo is a premium, innovative tequila from Jalisco, Mexico, blending deep tradition with modern refinement. It was created to commemorate the 50th birthday of founder Juan Dobel and the 50‑year legacy of his tequila‑making family.
This expression starts with 100% blue Weber agave, sourced from a single family‑owned estate in the Los Valles / Tequila Valley region of Jalisco. The agave is harvested at peak maturity, cooked, fermented and double‑distilled (typically in copper pot stills) to yield a high‑quality base spirit.
The spirit is then aged for a minimum of three years in a blend of American oak and Eastern European (often French or other) oak barrels.
After maturation, the tequila undergoes a proprietary filtration process that removes the colour imparted by the barrels, resulting in a crystal‑clear (“cristalino”) liquid—yet retaining many of the flavour and aromatic complexities of the aged spirit.
Visually the tequila presents as clear with steel or platinum reflections, a tell‑tale of the filtration step, while the legs on the glass indicate viscosity from ageing.
