Chateau La Pirouette is located in the appellation Medoc and holds the classification of Cru Bourgeois. The 2020 vintage is described as a wine that “expresses the richness of the gravelly soils of the Medoc and a good maturity of fruit” thanks to favourable climatic conditions.

The estate works on traditional and reasoned viticulture, and the 2020 version is being noted for combining structure and fruit in a pleasing way. 

As a Cru Bourgeois wine it offers an accessible entry into Medoc terroir while still reflecting the gravel-soiled, left-bank Bordeaux style of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot dominance.
