Excellent stuff, with aromas of caramel, vanilla, and fruit, as well as a nice earthy quality in its center.

Michter’s Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky, produces US1 Bourbon in tiny batches of no more than two dozen barrels. Michter’s, named after one of the oldest distilleries in the United States, offers a variety of great American whiskeys. There’s something for everyone, from refill-cask-aged unblended American whiskey to 25-year-old bourbon, including young and old bourbon and rye, as well as whiskeys that focus on the casks used for maturation.
