Psagot Homeland is a premium red blend produced by Psagot Winery, from vineyards situated high in the Judean Mountains (around 900 meters above sea level). The high‑altitude terroir combined with the region’s climate contributes to grapes that balance ripeness with freshness, giving the wine strength, clarity and distinct character.
After harvest (grapes are hand‑picked, often at dawn), the wine is aged for 12 months (or in some releases, reportedly up to 24 months) in French oak barrels (some accounts mention French and Hungarian oak), which adds depth, structure and oak‑derived complexity.
Deep ruby to purple hued red
Aromas of red and black fruits, perhaps notes of boysenberry, dark plum, violet, as well as hints of espresso, tilled soil, cocoa
Medium-to‐full body. Balanced acidity and refined tannins. The structure is firm yet elegant; fruit of dark berries, blackcurrant, plum, possibly cherry; underlying oak influence
