The Lanson Gold Label Brut is a blend of roughly half and half Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, which is made exclusively from the Grands Crus and left to blossom in the Cellar for at least 5 years.

Yellow-golden in color, the 2006 Gold Label Vintage Brut has a deep, ripe and vinous nose. Rich, ripe and full on the palate, with finesse, elegance and a good, pretty long finish, this is a complex cuvée that is built more on maturity than freshness this year.

"Champagne Lanson is based in Reims in the Champagne region, since 2006, it has been owned by the Lanson-BCC group that is headed by Bruno Paillard.
The Clos Lanson is the house's prestige release, made from oak-aged base wines with grapes from a walled hectare (2.5 acre) plot opposite the Notre Dame de Reims Cathedral and nearby the Lanson cellars."
