The champagne is composed of 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Meunier.

Peach, apricot and red berry aromas are followed by crystalized citrus, orange blossom and hints of brioche. The palate is rich with cherries, exotic fruits and a touch of lemon, vanilla and honey. The mouth feel is soft and creamy, with a hint of toastiness, from the unique Armand de Brignac dosage which is aged for one year in French oak barrel. Ideal as an aperitif or pairs perfectly with seared scallops, roasted quail and fresh water fish.
"Armand de Brignac, known as Ace of Spades, is a French Champagne owned by Shawn ""Jay-Z"" Carter and LVMH. The brand is produced by Champagne Cattier and first bottling, Armand de Brignac Brut Gold, is identifiable by its gold bottle with French pewter Ace of Spades labels.
The Armand de Brignac champagnes are produced in the village of Rilly-la-Montagne, in the Montagne de Reims region of Champagne. Fruit is sourced from the 30+ hectares owned by the Cattier family and from growers in selected villages across the region. All three Champagne grape varieties are used: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier."
