Chateau Prieure-Lichine reigns over 77.5 hectares of vines on an extraordinary terroir. Planted in Garonne gravel typical of the Margaux appellation, the 30-year-old vines enjoy ideal growing conditions.
Harvests in crates. Vibrating sorting table. Manual and optic sorting. No crushing. Gravity-fed barrelling. Vatting for 28 to 30 days. Maceration accompanied by punch-downs. The ageing is carried out in barrels, of which 40% are new and 60% are barrels of one previous wine.
Deep red colour
The nose releases scents of blackberry, blueberry and violet.
The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins with aromas of black fruit, graphite and smoke.
