Description

Dictador XO Insolent Rum is made from the fermentation of unique virgin sugar cane honey, then distilled in a modern stainless steel alembic. It is then aged in pre-used quality oak barrels from Jerez and Port that now and again reburn to caramelize the interior to achieve sweet flavours coming from the oak.

Hypnotic aroma, intricately roasted honey, pure vanilla, royal toffee, mature oak and parfait caramel

Palate

In the mouth it is extremely smooth with a range of exquisite flavours starting with fudge, intense vanilla, parfait caramel, and Colombian coffee. A long consistency is balanced with light oak giving the sensation of extreme quality and satisfaction of sweetness and strength

The Mojito cocktail has popularised Cuba/Havana as a pop culture reference in music, movies, TV series and even tourism. It is also one of the most famous rum-based highballs cocktail classic that often appears on drinks menu or at parties.

How to make Mojito

Servings 1
Preparation time 5 minutes

Ingredients

45ml Rum
30ml Fresh Lime Juice
2 Teaspoons Sugar
6 leaves of Mint
15ml Soda Water

Instructions

Pour lime juice and place sugar and mint leaves into shaker
Crush the mint leaves with the end of a rolling pin Pour into tall glass with ice
Pour rum into glass and stir with a long-handled spoon
Top up with soda water, garnish with mint and serve
